Welcome to the PRC Development Wiki. If you are interested in helping others on the VATSIM network, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking a few more authors with practical experience in aviation, to write lessons for the remaining Pilot Training courses listed on the Phase2 page of this website. We also need additional consultants (reviewers) with experience in Europe, Asia, Africa/ME, or South America. Please let us hear from you.

Step up and help make our pilot training material as accurate and comprehensive as possible.

I also have need for a special assistant to fill the position of Director - PRC Content. The requirements include being good with word processing and editing. As our new lessons move through evaluation and close to completion, it will be necessary to verify that they read well and contain no grammatical or spelling errors. Here is a list of responsibilities that go with the position:

Final edits on PRC content
Format for consistency with the other lessons in the PRC
Save final (.doc) Word versions
Save as ?Filtered? HTML files
Create Acrobat files
Upload final versions to the VATSIM server
Coordinate new PRC content with the Webmaster (Jeff Thomas) for needed Index additions
Ongoing ? Update and revise PRC as required for outdated content

Final edits on PRC content
Format for consistency with the other lessons in the PRC
Save final (.doc) Word versions
Save as ?Filtered? HTML files
Create Acrobat files
Upload final versions to the VATSIM server
Coordinate new PRC content with the Webmaster (Jeff Thomas) for needed Index additions
Ongoing ? Update and revise PRC as required for outdated content
