I'm Mark Richards, currently 42, Kiwi born and now living in Melbourne, Australia, having been here since October 2002.

I'm currently the Division Director of VATNZ - VATSIM New Zealand∞.

Was one of the founders of SATPAC/VATPAC∞, VATSIM's Oceanic Division and am currently a VATSIM Supervisor.

I spent 18 years in the Police in New Zealand as a Police Officer before leaving for a better life in Australia. In 2001, I lived and worked in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea trying to establish Community Policing amongst the villagers following the 10 year civil war.

I now work full time as a Team Leader in the Ambulance Communications Centre here in Melbourne.

When I'm not working I'm usually found in front of the PC flying or controlling online on VATSIM.

I'm part of the PRC group developing Oceanic Procedures pages.
