The PilotResourceCenterTeam has launched Phase2 of the VATSIM PRC∞. In Phase 1, we presented the basic information about software, how to get along on the network, basic ATC concepts, what to expect, and a couple short examples of how a first flight on the network goes, http://vatsim.net/prc∞∞. Now we get into specific pilot training topics.
Below is a list of subjects we will publish Phase2 lessons for. As you look through the list, consider your qualifications and your available time over the next few months and let us know if you would be interested in participating as an author "author AT mbev.net". Full acknowledgements will be given to authors.
(i.e. VATSIM 102f)
Once lessons/articles are completed, they will be sorted into 4 categories, VFR, IFR, Intermediate, and Advanced. Those categories will become the basis for the introduction of Pilot Ratings on VATSIM. Detailed information will be provided at a later time, but for now I will just say that this will be a completely voluntary program and it will be integrated into the network. However, none of this can happen without the lesson content.
The topics are all listed with "Level" and "Category" in front of each lesson. For instance, the third topic, Basic - VFR-IFR-APP, DEP, CTR positions and responsibilities:
The Level = Basic
The Category = VFR and IFR (applies to both rating categories)
The Lesson Title = APP, DEP, CTR Positions and Responsibilities

The
PilotResourceCenterTeam has launched
Phase2 of the
VATSIM PRC∞. In Phase 1, we presented the basic information about software, how to get along on the network, basic ATC concepts, what to expect, and a couple short examples of how a first flight on the network goes,
http://vatsim.net/prc∞∞. Now we get into specific pilot training topics.
Below is a list of subjects we will publish
Phase2 lessons for.
